Elizabeth Hijuelos Buenfil

My name is Elizabeth Hijuelos Buenfil, daughter of paint manufacturers, reason of my devotion to art since I was only a child. I started with short courses at Mexico City, and I've gained experience in more than 15 years of painting classes taught by the renown professional artist, Sandra Nikolai, from which I've acquired basic knowledge and artist formation which inspires me to be who I am today. The concern about learning and expressing in different ways the experiences lived with our beloved nature, led me to find my passion in silk painting. It was then when I went all the way to Barcelona, where I had the opportunity to meet the wonderful artists who shared with me the invaluable knowledge and teachings that today allow me to highlight the beauty in each piece of art I create, in a very special and emotional way to me. My path as an artist is endless, just like my desire to keep learning. Every day is a new opportunity to be better.
